Alejandra Magaña Gamero
Alejandra "Ale", Santa Monica born and raised, is a proud Mexicana, daughter of immigrants, and a first-generation college graduate and entrepreneur. She holds a B.S in Psychology from Santa Clara University and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Education from UCLA. Ale is the Co-Founder of Latinas Talk Dinero, a bilingual and culturally relevant personal finance coaching business dedicated to empowering communities of color to transform their relationship with money.
Alejandra is passionate about fostering positive change through community engagement and creating avenues to build generational wealth, ensuring that diverse communities have access to the resources and opportunities they need to thrive. With extensive experience collaborating with nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, and corporate partners, Alejandra has successfully developed and implemented innovative social impact strategies. Her expertise in community engagement, culturally relevant financial education, and equity-driven initiatives allows her to navigate complex social landscapes and drive sustainable change. A lifelong learner, Alejandra continuously seeks opportunities to deepen her understanding of social issues and explore innovative solutions. Alejandra is excited about the opportunity to empower Black and Brown entrepreneurs with the confidence, competence, and capital to grow their business.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors—at the beach, camping, hiking, traveling, or attending sporting events with friends and family.
