Born and raised in East Oakland, CA with Mexican roots, Lorena Borrayo is a first-generation college graduate—obtaining her BA in Spanish at California State University Chico. As an entrepreneur for the past seven years, Lorena knew she had to make a difference in her own community by serving entrepreneurs who are making a change and working towards generational wealth. With previous experience working with low-income, underprivileged youth of color, Lorena was motivated to become a Program Specialist to support budding entrepreneurs and build connections. She loves spending time with her two boys, cooking, traveling, and meeting new people.
